This Women's Month, Suzuki Auto South Africa is inviting South Africans to celebrate the women who inspire, support and drive us forward through its new national campaign, Suzuki Driven By Her.
More than a Women's Month campaign, Suzuki Driven By Her is a celebration of the everyday women whose encouragement, resilience and support shape our lives, our communities and our country.
Rooted in Suzuki's "By Your Side" brand philosophy, the campaign shifts the focus from vehicles to the people behind every journey. It is built around the belief that the experiences we share and the people who influence our lives create the strongest and most meaningful connections.
"Every one of us can point to a woman who has encouraged us, believed in us or helped us become the person we are today," says Cristine Knight, Senior Manager: Sales and Dealer Development at Suzuki Auto South Africa.
"Suzuki Driven By Her is our opportunity to recognise those women and encourage South Africans to celebrate the people who have helped shape who they are. Whether it's a mother, mentor, colleague, friend or community leader, this campaign is about acknowledging the people whose support often shapes our biggest milestones."
Suzuki Driven By Her will come to life through a series of initiatives throughout Women's Month, beginning with Suzuki's annual Women's Day event. The event will bring together members of the media, Suzuki's dealer network and staff to celebrate women while supporting community initiatives that make a meaningful difference.
As part of the campaign, guests attending the Women's Day event will be encouraged to donate feminine hygiene products, which will be distributed to communities in need as part of Suzuki's commitment to supporting women beyond Women's Month.
The campaign also invites South Africans to nominate a woman who has inspired, supported or helped shape their journey throughout August. Nominations can be submitted via this link, giving people the opportunity to salute the remarkable women who continue to make a difference in their lives using the hashtag #SuzukiDrivenByHer.
To celebrate these inspiring stories, both the nominator and the woman they nominate will have the opportunity to enjoy a curated Suzuki Driven By Her Experience valued at R30,000.

"Suzuki Driven By Her reflects that belief by shining a light on the women whose encouragement, strength and support make a lasting difference in the lives of those around them. We hope this campaign inspires South Africans to share their stories, celebrate the women who have stood by them and carry that spirit forward."
