Suzuki Auto SA, dealers and South Africans make a difference to children in need
The year is steadily coming to an end, with the smell of braais filling the holiday air, sandy feet and salty hair among giggles and fun. For most, this time of the year also indicates the season of giving and for getting. But for many, this also means a time of loneliness, illness, sadness and fear.
The South African festive holidays are a time when families and friends switch off their laptops, pack away their school uniforms and spend quality time together. This time of the year is dedicated to togetherness, love, adventure and for most a time for giving and receiving.
There is a vast majority of South African children that won’t feel the summer sun bask on their skin, the embrace of a loved one or just a smile or a giggle, a gift of love or even belonging.
Suzuki is all about togetherness, love and adventure and this year is no exception as the annual Golfing for Teddies Drive kicks off, where we aim to collect 2 000 teddies across the country for children in hospital over the festive period.
The eighth annual Teddy for Golf Drive
The Golfing For Teddy Drive was initially started by the Penta Motor Group and will now be supported by Suzuki Auto South Africa as its headline sponsor.
Over the years, this event has grown in support from South Africans of all walks of life, including philanthropists and celebrities across the sporting and pop culture arenas. And now we invite each of our Suzuki fans and followers to join in on this amazing initiative.

Suzuki Dealers Deliver Hope
The 102 Suzuki Dealerships across South Africa will be collecting teddies from their communities, and existing customers - no teddy is not good enough, new or pre-loved teddies and stuffed animals can be dropped off at the dealerships which will be collected in time for the annual Golfing for Teddies event, where they will be distributed just in time to give children in need some love and hope.
