Getting your first car is an unforgettable moment and it’s even better when that car is one of our beautiful vehicles. We asked Suzuki drivers to share how they began their Suzuki Way of Life.
Everyone remembers taking delivery of their beloved Suzuki . Getting your first car is a special moment that has lots of responsibilities attached to it but nothing beats the new-found feeling of freedom you experience. Your new car enables you to go where you want, when you want.
We asked some of our Suzuki drivers how they felt when they bought their car, here are their stories;
“My first time I got my Suzuki I just got back from overseas I couldn’t wait to get back to get a brand new Suzuki Swift. I had a beautiful one and from there on I only drive Suzuki. I am on my third Suzuki and I am 61. My last one will be the new Jimny,” said Angela Rodrigues.
Christopher Meyer said “I was so excited to drive away with my new Suzuki Baleno! My old car was sadly written off but I love Suzelle the Baleno just as much as Polly the polo.”
“I struggled for years to get vehicle finance and it caused a lot of frustration for me, I always had to beg my dad to help me out. Then in November 2018 my dearest husband Kobus-Tiny Fourie showed me the new Vitara and I fell in love, he already introduced me to his DRZ, Jimny and then he bought the Vitara for the family and I was completely in love with his Vitara,” said Nadia Fourie
Nadia said, “Out of pure desperation, I decided to immediately apply for finance. Then it happened, my beautiful Vitara was my destiny! I feel extremely blessed and have learnt that things always work out how they are supposed to we just have to be patient!”
The first year of owning a car can be full of ups and downs. “I was looking at getting a second-hand Golf, but my dad was looking at getting an Ertiga in 2015, so when we were there I fell in love with the Swift, so we bought the Ertiga and Swift, now four years later we traded in the old models for a new Ertiga and a new Baleno for me. I love my Baleno and my dad loves his new Ertiga. All the space we need with all the amazing features and comfort,” says Risely Lucan Padayachee.
One of our biggest Suzuki fans is Kobus Fourie, who has a number of Suzuki stories to share. We love how he fell in love right from the start and remains an avid Suzuki fan.
“My first Suzuki was a bike which I still have and still have tons of fun with,” says Kobus. He went on to own one of the legendary second-generation Jimnys but had to trade it in for something bigger for his lovely family. My current Suzuki is the Grand Vitara V6. It’s the perfect car for the family and fun!” says Kobus.
